SOUTH SOMERSET ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

CCL was instructed to prepare the new Economic Development Strategy (EDS) for the ten year period 2018-2028. The geographical scope of the Strategy was focused on South Somerset, but with a wider sphere of influence and spatial dimension necessary in order to place the District within the sub-regional and regional/national economic context. WINCANTON TOWN CENTRE STRATEGY

CCL led a multi-disciplinary team appointed by South Somerset District Council to produce a Strategy and Action Plan for Wincanton town centre with the underlying objective to boost footfall, create a more economically vibrant centre and support future regeneration aspirations.

MID SUSSEX SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY PARK

We acted as the lead consultant with project leadership, management and overall responsibility for the preparation of a comprehensive development concept and feasibility for 100,000 sqm of a new science and technology park in Mid Sussex. [Read more]

BEACON PARK ENTERPRISE ZONE

CCL were part of the team led by Hudson Architects and Urban Delivery appointed by Great Yarmouth Borough Council to advise on the extension of Beacon Park focused on off-shore renewable energy industries and technology research and development. [Read more]

NORTH QUAY AREA SPD, GREAT YARMOUTH

CCL, working with Urban Delivery prepared the North Quay Area Supplementary Planning Document for Great Yarmouth Borough Council.

SLEAFORD MOOR ENTERPRISE PARK

CCL were appointed by North Kesteven District Council (NKDC) to advise on the development potential and delivery options for a 15 Ha strategic employment site known as Sleaford Moor Enterprise Park following its acquisition by the Council. [Read more]

Mendip District Council (MDC) has designated the Royal Bath & West Showground site as an Enterprise Area to help attract new business investment and growth.

HORLEY BUSINESS PARK – STRATEGIC EMPLOYMENT AREA, REIGATE

CCL was commissioned by Reigate & Banstead Borough Council to assess the market needs and demands and to build up the planning policy impact assessment case for 83 hectares of new commercial floorspace and innovation/incubator development to the north of Gatwick Airport. [Read more]

MID SUSSEX STRATEGIC EMPLOYMENT LAND ASSESSMENT

CCL was instructed by Mid Sussex District Council to prepare a comprehensive Strategic Employment Land Availability Assessment (SELAA) to form a key part of the Council’s District Plan evidence base.

CCL, working with Urban Delivery prepared an initial planning feasibility and diligence work for an existing 0.4 Ha industrial estate at the eastern edge of Ancoats in Manchester on behalf of Trekgate Ltd. [Read more]

MEDINA YARD: HOUSING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, ISLE OF WIGHT

CCL was commissioned by The Harrison Trust, a major landowner in the Isle of Wight, to prepare the housing and economic housing development case in support of a 535 residential and 9,000 sq.m B Use Class regeneration scheme on Cowes town centre waterfront.
